Containers For Pop Up Catering - The Ferryboat Inn

Containers for pop up catering are a growing trend, due to their portability, low cost and ability to fit in almost any location. This eye catching conversion is for the Ferryboat Inn, to serve fish and chips to ferry boat passengers and day trippers to Hayling Island, Hampshire. Using a 15ft container, we converted it into a pop up catering unit, including wipe clean melamine lining and a plasterboard, fire retardant backing where the fryer is situated,  and our client then applied their own graphics to the exterior, for a stunning final result.

Our containers for pop up catering come with different options for providing container service. The Ferryboat Inn displays the single lifting hatch style, which uses gas struts to lower and lift the hatch over the serving aperture. It has the convenience of providing a counter and canopy when open. We can also fabricate and fit double lift up hatches (also using gas struts), roller shutters, and window style shutters that open outwards.
