Pop Up Bar Conversion

This pop up bar conversion was created for a client in the festival market.

The design for this pop up bar conversion includes a platform on top for open air drinking (when the British summer allows) with a non slip Durbar plate floor to prevent unfortunate accidents from the top level, which is accessed by an external staircase. The unit is completely portable, easy to transport, assemble and disassemble, and accompanies a similar conversion we worked on for the client. Some of the destinations and events already scheduled for this pop up bar are Bull in a China Shop, Printworks London and the Houghton Festival.

Pop up bars and food outlets are rapidly expanding in popularity with out clients, as they are to easy relocate to the next event in order to optimise business opportunities. This job was second pop up bar with staircase and platform our client has commissioned us to build; the first one involved joining up two 20ft once-used containers to achieve a width of 16ft and creating a platform to cover both containers with external staircase. To view our biggest, most ambitious container bar to date, take a look at the Hangar Bar, which now resides at Manchester Airport.
