Wood Chip Boiler House

This conversion was converted for a tree maintenance company, whose work includes felling, pollarding, coppicing and stump grinding.

The container has been made to house a wood chip boiler and chip store, so the sliding roof is an important feature to directly feed the wood pellet fuel into, and the ply lining ensures the wood stays dry and condensation free, whatever the weather. Shipping containers make ideal housing for environmentally friendly biomass boilers, as they are low cost, secure and dry, and can be adapted in many ways to suit various requirements for boiler installation, or simply as a fuel store, which can then be fed into a separate unit housing the boiler equipment.
