Pop Up Catering Unit - Beaconsfield Football Club
Now residing in the grounds of Beaconsfield Football Club, this great little pop up catering unit serves food and hot drinks to hungry, half time fans. The conversion includes full kitchen facilities, and serving hatches with gas strut openings. We even finished off by repainting the unit in the club’s colour red!
To create this pop up catering unit we took a once-used 40ft container and trimmed it down to 15ft in length. We added a matching corrugated wall panel which was fully seam welded, and fitted a lockable steel personnel door for access rather than container style doors. The container was fully lined and insulated in wipe clean melamine lining and the marine ply floor was overlaid with vinyl. Melamine lining and vinyl flooring are standard features in conversions for food preparation, as they help to maintain a good hygiene standards and are quick and easy to clean.
For the interior, our client requested an electrical installation with double sockets placed at key points within the unit. We also fitted a sink with water heater and counters around the front edge and right hand side wall. This provided the catering staff with ample preparation space for food and drinks for hungry spectators! As well as the counters on the inside, we also installed drop down counters underneath the canopies for customers to add ketchup, mustard, salt and pepper to their orders creating the perfect all-rounder for a pop up catering unit. We can also fit outward opening, window style shutters, or roller shutters to pop up catering units.
