Pop-Up Cladded Cafe

This neat little pop-up cladded cafe is destined for Drumgelloch railway station, near Glasgow. Converted from a 10ft shipping container into a pop-up cladded cafe and sited just outside the station entrance, it’s perfect to catch commuters in need of their morning coffee and other sustenance on the way to work. The melanine lining and vinyl floor helps to maintain a clean container on the inside, and the wood cladding on the outside gives the unit an attractive aesthetic, disguising that’s it’s a shipping container.

Pop-up food and drink outlets are a fast growing trend in the catering industry, and we have undertaken work for small family businesses operating out of just one unit, to larger companies requiring multiple outlets in different locations. Some of our catering containers are used as a permanent structure, as with this conversion, others are used as to take around to various locations for special events and festivals. As shipping containers are portable, whatever the size of the unit, it can be moved from one location to the next if used as a temporary fixture. See some or our other pop-up catering conversions, including this pop-up bar at a football club, and a rural cafe at a visitor attraction in Devon.  The addition of cladding can help with planning permission if the container is being stationed as a permanent fixture at a rural location. Or it can just make you container conversion stand out from the crowd with an attractive finish. Cladding is available in three different types, or we offer a bespoke matching service for more specific requirements.
